THE Wild West comes to Cuffley next month.
For Cuffley Operatic Society’s latest musical extravaganza, Wild Wild Women, opens on Tuesday, May 8 at Cuffley Hall in Maynard Place.
Set in the town of Aggroville, Wild, Wild Women tells the story of two feuding families and the work of a singing nun, who is accidentally shot by a stray bullet from one of the families.
On her death bed she dramatically recruits the wives of the town to carry on her cause – to bring joy to the town and to end the fighting.
Led by the owner of the local hotel, they reluctantly agree to work together to try and put an end to the feud, but soon realise that the only way to stop the men from fighting is to withhold all love making activities from them.
This, unfortunately, opens the door of the town to Madame Lola’s ladies.
The show runs from Tuesday to Saturday, May 12 at 7.45pm.
Tuesday tickets are £10 and all other nights cost £14.
The box office number is 01707 444815.
