A professional from Strictly Come Dancing has announced a new tour date for Potters Bar next year.

Giovanni Pernice will bring his Born to Win show to the Wyllyotts Theatre on Monday, July 9.

This is a new date for Giovanni’s 2018 tour, after already confirming a show at the Gordon Craig Theatre in Stevenage for Wednesday, April 25.

He will also be appearing at The Rhodes Arts Complex in Bishop’s Stortford on Sunday, April 22.

The Italian dancer is currently wowing the judges on Strictly Come Dancing with celebrity partner Debbie McGee.

They reached the semi-finals of the BBC competition at the weekend after performing a breathtaking American Smooth to Memory from hit musical Cats. You can watch the video of the dance above.

Giovanni’s leading lady on tour next year will be fellow Strictly pro Luba Mushtuk.

Born in Russia before moving to Italy to study dance, Luba speaks three languages fluently and has toured the world with Burn the Floor.

The pair performed together on stage at the Hawthorne Theatre in Welwyn Garden City earlier this year during Giovanni’s Dance is Life UK tour.

Giovanni’s new show will feature beautiful choreography to dances like the rumba, the Viennese Waltz, the Paso Doble, and the Argentine Tango, to name just a few.

The Italian dancer will be joined by seven world class professionals, with the show produced once more by Strictly Theatre Co and choreographed by Strictly Come Dancing’s creative director Jason Gilkison.

Tickets for the Potters Bar performance on July 9 cost £30, and £29 concessions.

A limited number of VIP tickets cost £50.

The VIP meet and greet will be at 6.45pm, and this package includes prime seating, a signed print and an opportunity to have your photograph taken with Giovanni.
