THE school holidays will be over for the unruly girls of St Swithuns soon.

After a two-week closure for essential maintenance work, the Alban Arena in St Albans will re-open for business with its first ever summer workshop – featuring the pupils of St Swithuns.

Presented by RARE Productions Youth Theatre Group, rehearsals for The Last Daze Of St Swithuns start on Monday, August 22 culminating in two final performances open to the public on Saturday, August 27, at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.

Against a background of classic 50s rock ‘n’ roll music, the girls of St Swithuns decide to take on the might of the London underworld, in a battle of wits and nerve.

Tickets for the matinee cost £13 for adults and £10 for OAPs, with up to two children under 16 per paying adult getting in for free.

Children’s tickets cost £6 for the evening performance, with adult tickets £13.

RARE card holding members aged 16 plus get in for £6.
