Following the recent Disney live-action re-telling of the studio’s hit animation, Beauty and the Beast is December’s panto treat at the Hawthorne Theatre.

From the same team behind last year’s hilarious production of Dick Whittington, the magical family show will star WGC’s favourite Dame, Michael Totton.

Directed by Helen Crosse, the Christmas show opens at the CW Entertainment venue on Friday, December 8 and runs until Sunday, December 31.

School performances run from Friday, December 8 until Friday, December 15.

Public performances run from Saturday, December 9 until Sunday, December 31.

Families can get 20 per cent off standard ticket prices – all public shows from December 9 to December 21 – and premium tickets – public performances from December 22 to December 31 – if booked before June 30.

Adult standard tickets cost £18 and premium tickets £20, with concessions £16 and £18 respectively.

The early bird discount ends June 30.

As in recent years, there will also be a special over 18s pantomime at the Hawthorne Theatre.

From the same crew behind last year’s sell-out show Dick!, Beauty and the Beast Unleashed can be seen on Thursday, December 28 at 7.30pm and at the same time the following night.

There are no discounts available for these two adult-only shows, and tickets are selling fast.

• To book panto tickets, visit the CW Entertainment website at www.cwentertainment.co.uk or call the box office.
