IT’S been over 30 years since Shakin’ Stevens first hit the UK charts with debut single Hot Dog and the veteran rock ‘n’ roll singer will be in Hertfordshire next month as part of his latest tour.
He was one of Britain’s biggest selling singles artists of the 80s.
Hits such as This Ole House, Green Door, Oh Julie and Merry Christmas Everyone all topped the UK singles charts.
And on Friday, February 4, Shakin’ Stevens drops by the Alban Arena in St Albans as part of his 30th anniversary tour.
See this week’s Welwyn Hatfield Times, out today (Wednesday), for an interview with Shaky.
