CHART-TOPPING rapper Wretch 32 has announced a live date in Hatfield for next year as part of his May UK tour.
The grime star from Tottenham will play the Forum Hertfordshire on Saturday, May 12, starting at 7pm.
He will be stopping by the College Lane entertainment venue as part of his headline UK tour, fresh off his spring arena jaunt supporting good friend Example.
Jermaine Scott, aka Wretch 32, collaborated with Example earlier this year on top two hit single Unorthodox, which sampled The Stone Roses classic Fools Gold.
His follow-up single, Don’t Go featuring Josh Kumra, topped the UK charts in August.
Wretch 32’s debut single, Traktor, was also a top five smash and The Metaphor Man – as he is referred to by the grime glitterati – has won an army of followers, including excited tweets from the likes of Adele, Jessie J and Rio Ferdinand.
Liam Gallagher has also praised his music in interviews, 50 Cent has blogged about him and P Diddy and Mark Ronson have asked Wretch 32 to jump up on stage with them.
The in demand MC has also recorded with The Streets, Chipmunk, Professor Green and Tinie Tempah.
Tickets for his Hatfield concert are £12.50 in advance and will be available pre-sale for O2 customers from tomorrow (Wednesday) at 9am.
They go on general sale from www.forumhertfordshire.co.uk or from the Forum box office on 08444 771 000 from 9am on Friday.
