The first V Festival 2017 line-up announcement will be made next week.

Organisers of the twin-sited music festival will make the first official line-up announcement on Monday, February 27 at 8.15am.

Promoters of the two-day festival being held over the weekend of Saturday, August 19 to Sunday, August 20 have already confirmed that Pete Tong will appear at Hylands Park in Chelmsford, Essex, and Weston Park with the Heritage Orchestra conducted by Jules Buckley for Ibiza Classics.

V Festival tweeted a video of Pete Tong presents Ibiza Classic, saying: “Surprise! We reveal our headliners and first acts next week but here’s a sneaky reveal to keep you going until then… #VFestival @PeteTong”

Pete Tong also tweeted: “#IbizaClassics with The Heritage Orchestra conducted by Jules Buckley is coming to @Vfestival! Don’t miss out: http://vfestival.com”

Virgin Red presale for V Festival will open on Tuesday, February 28 at 9am.

The Utilita Energy presale will start at 9am on Wednesday, March 1.

Essex residents’ presale for the Hylands Park event will open at 9am on Thursday, March 2.

Tickets will go on general sale at 9am on Friday, March 3.
