Standon Calling 2017 day splits revealed and day tickets on sale

The day splits for Standon Calling have been revealed and festival-goers can now get hold of day tickets for this summer’s spectacular.

The music and arts festival takes place in the Hertfordshire countryside at Standon Lordship at the end of July.

And after revealing the line-up and three main stage headliners, organisers have now put on sale day tickets for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Orbital will headline the opening night, Friday, July 28, with Slaves, Kate Tempest and Steve Mason also appearing, while Idris Elba will be on DJ duties.

The Friday line-up at Standon will also include Nadia Rose, Dutch Uncles, Lucy Spraggan, Club Drive and Strong Asian Mothers.

Joining Luther star Idris Elba behind the decks will be fellow DJs Jax Jones and Maxxi Soundsystem.

Clean Bandit will top the bill on Saturday, July 29.

Laura Mvula, Nothing But Thieves and !!! (CHK CHK CHK) will also appear.

Among the DJs on the Saturday will be Joe Goddard from Hot Chip, DJ Yoda and Lindstrom, while Horrible Histories - The Best of Barmy Britain will appear live on the main stage at the start of day.

The legendary Grace Jones will bring the festival to an eye-popping close on the Sunday night after sets by Editors, Gary Numan, KT Tunstall and British Sea Power.

Standon’s July 30 line-up will also include Slow Club, The Cuban Brothers, John Hassall & The April Rainers and Lisa ‘Adele’ Martin.

Topping the DJ line-up will be Insomnia stars Faithless.

Adult day tickets cost £57 plus booking fees, while children’s tickets are £25.

The price is £5 for infants.
