One of the busiest musicians on the UK jazz circuit returns to Welwyn Garden City this evening.

Guitarist Nigel Price will play Herts Jazz Club with his quartet tonight (Sunday).

Joining Nigel in Screen 2 of the Garden City Cinema complex at Campus West will be Gabriel Latchin on piano, Conor Chaplin on bass and Clark Tracey on drums.

A Herts Jazz spokesman said: “Nigel’s ongoing drive, knowledge of the language and innate ability to swing mark him as one of the best guitarists this country has ever produced.

“On Sunday night he has picked a band including the talented rising star Gabriel Latchin on piano, last seen at our club with Nat Steele last year.”

Advance tickets for the gig cost £5 students, £10 members, £12 concessions and £13 full.

The concert starts at 7.30pm and walk-ups are £7 students, £11 members, £14 concessions and £15 full.

• Book online or call the box office on 0300 3039 620.
