Line-up announced for Welwyn Garden City-based music festival

The line-up for the seventh Herts Jazz Festival in Welwyn Garden City has been announced.

This year’s Herts Jazz Festival will take place over the weekend of Friday, October 13 to Sunday, October 15 at the Hawthorne Theatre entertainment complex in The Campus, WGC.

Georgie Fame with the Guy Barker Big Band will headline the opening Friday night.

The Golden Age of British Big Bands will be the main attraction on the Saturday evening, with a rare performance of the late Bobby Wellins’ ‘Culloden Moor Suite’ featuring Mornington Lockett bringing the three-day jazz event to a close.

Early bird weekend tickets are now on sale.
