Discounted tickets for next year’s Classic Ibiza concert in Hatfield have virtually sold out.
Classic Ibiza, in association with Ministry of Sound, will be visiting Hatfield House on Saturday, September 1, 2018.
And early bird tickets for the classical-meets-dance concert have almost all gone. For a taster of what to expect, watch the video above.
This summer’s Classic Ibiza event at Knebworth House was declared a smash hit by the thousands of concert-goers that witnessed the Urban Soul Orchestra and DJ Goldierocks perform some of the biggest dance tracks from the last 20 years.
Early ticket sales indicate that the concert will be a sell-out in the grounds of Hatfield House.
Next year’s Hertfordshire concert promises to be bigger and better with news that Ministry of Sound are planning an after-show party at a yet to be confirmed location.
There are still a very limited number of early bird tickets available at a reduced price of £35. They will cost £39.50 thereafter.
Lisa Ward, of organisers Revival Productions, said: “We’ve been overwhelmed by the reaction of those people that witnessed Classic Ibiza earlier this year.
“Together with Ministry of Sound, we have some exciting plans for next year’s concert and we expect it to sell out in advance.
“So, sign up for your early bird tickets now for an unforgettable party under the stars!”
Set in the stunning grounds of Hertfordshire stately home Hatfield House, Classic Ibiza will start with a chill-out set where people can enjoy their picnics and a drink, or dance along as the sun fades.
Then DJ Goldierocks will ramp things up before the Urban Soul Orchestra and vocalists return to the stage to bring a vibrant atmosphere to the summer evening.
One classic dance track will follow another, as the delightful setting of Hatfield turns into a magical, al fresco nightclub, with accompanying lasers.
Last year’s set list included some real crowd-pleasers, such as Easy/Superstylin’ (Groove Armada), Sandstorm (Darude), Right Here, Right Now (Fat Boy Slim), Insomnia (Faithless) and Born Slippy (Underworld).
A number of new tracks will be added to next year’s programme.
Gates will open at 5.30pm and ticket holders can bring their own picnic, or take advantage of the top food outlets onsite.
Car parking is free, both for coaches and cars.
