Motown music is coming to the Alban Arena in St Albans

A NON-STOP night of classic Motown and Philadelphia hits is promised at the Alban Arena this weekend.
Original Drifters member Roy G Hemmings brings his award-winning Motown tour to the St Albans venue on Friday, October 21.
The show is a celebration of 50 years of Motown, with hits by The Supremes, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, The Four Tops, The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, The Jacksons, Stevie Wonder and Lionel Ritchie, to name but as few.
The electrifying show features classic hits such as Baby Love, Dancing In The Street, My Girl, I Can’t Help Myself, I Heard It Through The Grapevine, Reach Out I’ll Be There and All Night Long and will having you dancing in front of, as well as singing in your seat.
Front man Roy G Hemmings has been the longest serving member of The Drifters and has even performed at the White House for then American president Bill Clinton.
The live show also features The Love Supremes as well as The Tops & Tempts performing the hits of Motown’s legendary vocal groups from Detroit, Michigan.
