MEN Behaving Badly actor Neil Morrissey will be appearing at the Alban Arena in St Albans this week to talk about his career.
WHAT do The Bounty, Boon and Bob the Builder have in common?
The answer is Neil Morrissey and the Men Behaving Badly star reveals all when he appears at the Alban Arena in St Albans on Tuesday night.
Since starring in the classic ITV series Boon, Morrissey has enjoyed a hugely successful TV career, cementing his fame as the hapless Tony in the BBC’s long-running sitcom Men Behaving Badly.
Neil is also known to youngsters the world over as the voice of the massively popular children’s TV character Bob the Builder.
In An Evening With Neil Morrissey – Celebrities Stripped Bare, Neil will share his many stories and anecdotes and answer questions on every aspect of his acting career.
He made his screen debut in 1984 opposite Mel Gibson and Anthony Hopkins in the swashbuckling movie The Bounty.
His big TV break came soon afterwards in Boon. However, it was Men Behaving Badly which brought him, along with co-stars Martin Clunes, Leslie Ash and Caroline Quentin, to national stardom.
This is the first time Neil has taken to the road to share his story, and as well as talking about his well-documented career as an actor, he will also be discussing life away from the stage and screen – from his childhood years spent in boys’ homes, to his current life as an owner of his own brewery.
He will be at Alban Arena on Tuesday at 8pm.
