TICKETS for individual gigs at this year’s Herts Jazz Festival in Welwyn Garden City are now on sale.
Herts Jazz Club organisers have now released tickets for all of the individual gigs at this year’s festival, which runs from Friday, September 14 to Sunday, September 16.
The second festival at Campus West features an array of the best of British and European jazz musicians and has been supported by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
Herts Jazz Festival director Clark Tracey said: “With stars ranging from Zoe Rahman to Martin Taylor and from Troyka to Stan Tracey, we want as many jazz fans as possible to come along over the weekend.
“We know that some can only come for part of the time, so we have released individual gig tickets early to satisfy demand.”
As a special taster for the three-day music festival, there will be a performance of Chet Baker: Like Someone in Love, based on the dark and fascinating life of trumpeter Chet Baker, at the Hawthorne Theatre on Thursday, September 13.
All festival ticket holders and Herts Jazz Club members will receive 20 per cent discount and weekend ticket-holders will have free admittance.
Tickets are available for the whole festival, Saturday, Sunday or individual gigs.
A weekend past for the festival costs £90, £80 for Herts Jazz members and £40 students.
Day tickets for Saturday are £55, £50 for members and £25 students.
Sunday tickets are £45, £40 for members and £20 students.
Early-bird discounts of £10 for the whole festival and £5 per day are available for tickets purchased before July 1.
