British heavy metal band Heaven’s Basement play the University of Hertfordshire’s Attic as part of their double header tour with retro rock revivalists Jettblack, who have supported the likes of Whitesnake, Airbourne and W.A.S.P.

Stoke-on-Trent heroes Heaven’s Basement will feature new vocalist Aaron Buchanan at the Forum venue, while High Wycombe rock ‘n’ rollers Jettblack are not to be confused in any shape or form with legendary drummer Jet Black from The Stranglers.

Currently working on the follow-up to 2010 album Get Your Hands Dirty, the 80s classic rock sounding Bucks band are influenced by the likes of Metallica, AC/DC and Bon Jovi.

The lead single from the new record is likely to surface in support of the band’s appearance at this summer’s Sonisphere Festival at Knebworth House.

Bassist Tom Wright said: “To be playing one of the biggest metal festivals is one thing, but to be on the same bill as four of the biggest metal bands of all time is amazing.”

Jettblack will appear on the Jagermeister stage at Knebworth on Saturday, July 9.

Before then, they’ve got Saturday’s concert in Hatfield.

Tickets for the Forum gig cost £7.
