A TRIBUTE band to the mighty Foo Fighters will be rocking a Welwyn Garden City pub to its very core this weekend.
Foo Fighters tribute band Fu Fighters will be appearing at the Doctors Tonic pub in Welwyn Garden CityFrom playing drums in classic grunge outfit Nirvana to fronting all-conquering American rockers Foo Fighters, Dave Grohl has made his mark on music.
And Fu Fighters play The Green Room at The Doctors Tonic pub on Saturday night.
As the name suggests, Fu Fighters are a tribute to Grohl’s hard rockers, famous for hits such as All My Life, This is a Call, Learn To Fly and Monkey Wrench.
Band member Alex Brooks said: “We have been going for about nine years and mostly play at The Horn in St Albans where we have a pretty good following, but we have played in Essex and Cambridgeshire where we once supported Supergrass at a summer ball at the university.
