Bonfire Night 2013 is fast approaching and a number of huge firework displays are being arranged in Welwyn Hatfield and across Hertfordshire to mark the occasion.

Guy Fawkes celebrations will be held across the county once again in November.

With November 5 falling on a Tuesday this year, most displays will take place either the weekend before the big night, or the weekend after.

Welwyn Garden City Football Club, however, will be staging its now annual display of fireworks ahead of the rest on Friday, November 1.

There will be huge public displays in Hatfield, Ware, Watford and St Albans on Saturday, November 2.

Cheshunt’s Festival of Fireworks takes place on Sunday, November 3, 2013, the same night as Butterfly World, in Chiswell Green, near St Albans, and Letchworth’s big display.

One also takes place at Sherrardwood School, in Welwyn, on November 3.

The Stevenage spectacular is scheduled for Bonfire Night itself – Tuesday, November 5 – as is the display at Blueharts Hockey Club in Hitchin.

Borehamwood’s free display will also take place on Guy Fawkes Night.

Meanwhile, over in Potters Bar, the annual display at Little Heath Primary School – organised in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Brookmans Park – will be held a week later on Saturday, November 9.

That’s the same night as Crabtree School’s display in Harpenden, Hertfordshire.

The Harpenden Rugby Club display will be held the following day on Sunday, November 10.
