ONE of Hertfordshire’s largest explosions of pyrotechnics in 2013 will be seen above Verulamium Park in St Albans for Bonfire Night.

Organised by the Cathedral and Abbey Church of St Albans in aid of local charities, the annual Verulamium firework spectacular will take place three days before Guy Fawkes’ Night on Saturday, November 2.

The display will be by the acclaimed Fantastic Fireworks of Redbourn.

Gates to the park open at 6pm and the fireworks will start around 7.30pm, with more than 20,000 expected to attend, depending on the weather.

Tickets cost £5 for adults and £2 for children and senior citizens.

A family ticket for two adults and two children under 16 costs £10.
