A PRODUCTION celebrating 200 years of Charles Dickens will take a younger audience on an interactive musical journey through Victorian times in Hertford this weekend.
A Little Bit Productions present A Little Bit of Dickens at Hertford Theatre on Saturday, January 28 at 11am and again at 3pm.
The show is an exciting introduction to the world of Victorian England, through the magical characters of great novelist Dickens.
The musical journey follows naughty schoolboy Charlie as he travels back in time to discover the hardships and horrors of life as a Victorian child. Through the cobbled streets of London he makes some weird discoveries and wonderful Dickensian friends, who help him find his way home, but not before the seedy side of town gets in his way.
Celebrating Dickens’ 200th birthday, and incorporating characters from his much-loved classics, youngsters can sing and dance along to this fun accessible show and learn just how different life was 200 years ago.
Perfect for children aged seven upwards, tickets are £8 and £6.
