What is a Web feed and how can I use one?
A web feed, or rss feed, is a great way for you to see when new articles are published on your favourite websites, such as The Welwyn and Hatfield Times, without actually having to visit the website.
By subscribing to a feed you will receive all the latest headlines as soon as they are published all in one place and in many cases, straight on your desktop.
You can subscribe to a web feed using a feed aggregator program, sometimes called a feed reader or a news reader program. Depending on which program you use, the method to set up the feed may vary but this is usually just a case of copying or dragging the feed link (or the orange feed icon) into the aggregator program.
