Tom Lewis set for debut on PGA Tour

WELWYN Garden City golfer Tom Lewis is set to make his professional debut in America at the Transitions Championship in Florida.

The 21-year-old will tee off later today (Thursday) at 2.04pm local time alongside American Bud Cauley and Japan’s Ryo Ishikawa after accepting an invite to compete in the tournament.

Lewis will be looking to rediscover the kind of form which saw him win the Portugal Masters, which was only his third competition as a professional, at the end of last year.
