Tewin Cricket Club made it seven wins on the bounce as they kept the pressure on at the top of SHCL Division Six A.

Already promoted, their six-wicket win over Eversholt 2nds means they remain five points behind leaders Rickmansworth with one game to go.

Will Pickworth (4-18) continued his good form to dismiss the top four while Paul Shankster took the other as Eversholt were 40-5 after 20 overs.

There was some middle-order resistance before Mo Harihar (2-12) made the breakthrough, finishing off Eversholt for just 85.

In response Ben Sheppard and Luke Wilde set Tewin on their way before Rob Patterson and Noah Lipschitz saw them to their target within 14 overs.

Charlotte Wilde took four wickets and Marcus Hill three as the hosts were dismissed for 142 but despite a destructive 48 from Ryan Stannard, which included two huge sixes, Tewin ended up just short.
