A WGC rugby player won £250,000 last night during a half time crossbar challenge at the Saracens vs South Africa game.

Stuart Tinner, 24, who plays hooker for Welwyn Rugby Club fifth team, struck a 30-metre kick in front of a 46,000-strong crowd at Wembley.
The Job Centre worker, who lives at home with his parents, was one of three people picked out of the crowd at random to take part in the half time entertainment – but the only one who hit the target.
He said afterwards: “I really can’t believe it. It’s an amazing feeling and I’ve just won £250,000 – I’m still in a daze. “But it won’t change me; I’m still going to work in the morning, but what a night it has been.”
Guinness Premiership leaders Saracens, who are playing a series of matches at Wembley instead of their usual Vicarage Road home to increase their support base, won the match 24-23.
Luckily for Saracens, the kick won’t take a chunk out of their bank account. The club had taken out insurance against anyone hitting the bar and winning the cash prize.
