The Saracens Rugby Camp Programme is aimed at Under-7-Under-16 age groups and provides organised, educational, inclusive and structured activities, utilising Saracens’ experienced, qualified and award winning coaches.

Community coaches from the Aviva Premiership champions aimed to instil some of the values that drive the professional players, urging young talent to play with passion and commitment, respect and discipline whilst working effectively as a team.

Caroline Connell, Saracens community coach said, “The kids were on their best behaviour and really responsive to everything that I said.

“Grassroots rugby like this is where every single professional player started and it is great to see such enthusiasm at this age.”

Michel Gibbs, a parent in attendance added: “My son, Lewis enjoys days like these immensely and learned so much from the Saracens coaches.

“These camps have such a positive effect in the community and the children talk about them for weeks afterwards.

“The coaches are great fun and really look after the children.”
