WELWYN drew their third game of the 2011/2012 London 2 North West rugby season as they tied 12-12 at home to Chiswick.
Having been easily outplayed earlier in the season when they visited Chiswick down by the Thames, they were anxious to make amends and to improve their perilous situation.
The two points gained from the draw was helpful to Welwyn but, with a little more luck on the kicking front, a victory could have been obtained. The man of the match was Harry Gillespie.
On Saturday Welwyn have a difficult fixture away to league leaders Old Haberdashers but if they can play the way they played in the first half they could well cause a surprise.
