HATFIELD snooker star Alfie Burden is to compete at this weekend’s PartyPoker.com Snooker Shoot-Out, which is to be televised live on Sky TV.
Burden, the world number 62, will join the likes of Mark Selby, Judd Trump, Stephen Hendry, Ding Junhui and Masters Champion Neil Robertson at the Circus Arena, at The Blackpool Tower.
This shortened version of the game is a one-frame knockout tournament with frames lasting a maximum of 10 minutes and a reducing shot-clock to ensure fast moving action.
The world’s top 64 players will be battling for the £32,000 top prize.
