HANNAH Burke is tied seventh (at the time of writing) after the second round of the Allianz Ladies Slovak Open Presented by Respect.

Welwyn Garden City’s Burke shot rounds of 72 and 70 to comfortably make the cut in the Ladies European Tour event.

The highlight of Burke’s solid par 72 from the opening round at Golf Resort Talé near Brezno on Thursday was an eagle on the 18th.

The 25-year-old started today’s (Friday’s) second round with a disappointing double bogey, however five birdies from the following eight holes saw her climb the leaderboard to as high as joint-fifth.

A bogey on the 12th ensured she finished the round with a two-under par 70 score.

Denmark’s Line Vedel was topping the leaderboard on six-under-par.
