Welwyn Hatfield Secondary Schools Table Tennis Competition

MONK’S Walk School hosted the Welwyn Hatfield SSP Secondary Schools Boys’ and Girls’ Table Tennis Competition.

Stanborough, Monk’s Walk, Sir Frederic Osborn and Bishop’s Hatfield schools all entered teams to compete against one another, within their age group category.

On the day sports leaders from Stanborough, Monk’s Walk and Sir Frederic Osborn schools helped umpire on the match tables.

The Girls’ Year 7/8 section was won by Bishop’s Hatfield School with Monk’s Walk School winning the Year 9/10/11.

Monk’s Walk also won both the Boys’ Year 7/8 and the Boys’ Year 9/10/11 event.

The above schools will now go on to represent the Welwyn Hatfield SSP at the Herts County Table Tennis Finals later this month.
