The Ultimate Football Welwyn Garden City Monday night 6 a-side league is into its summer season.

SD & Carlton Cole returned to winning ways in the Premiership against a spirited Volvo Selekt, winning 4-2.

Kieran Pendrel-Smith scored twice and Max Brendish and Ben Neville once for SD&CC while Jack Offredi and Martin Selekt replied for Volvo.

Last season’s champions Litty Commity lost 6-3 to an in-form Blackpool while Rag Rovers followed up their impressive performance last week with a 6-2 victory against Sondico United.

Jake Hoy stole the show for Rovers with four while Joe Barnsdale scored twice for Sondico.

Dan Allison bagged seven in the Championship as Flumpy FC won 10-0 against The Toddlers.

And the high scores continued with Crude Crocs winning 7-1 against FC Rangers Old Boys and Daniel Green’s Hedgehog are putting five past Neverbee Athletic, a hat-trick from Stuart Madill the main cause of that.

Neverbee’s consolation goal came via Jamie Ayres.

James Cornwall’s Stroke T are enjoying a wonderful first season and the manager led the way with two as they beat The Mavericks 6-1.
