Ultimate Football: Champions Litty Commity and in-form Rag Rovers play thrilling draw

The Ultimate Football Welwyn Garden City Monday night six-a-side league is into its summer season.

In the Premiership, title holders Litty Commity played in-form Rag Rovers in a thrilling encounter which ended in a 2-2 draw.

Rovers twice went ahead, both times through Prince Appleton, but Litty responded both time thanks to Darryl Hall who was also named man of the match.

SD & Carlton Cole lost 2-0 to Steve Charles’s Blackpool team, Paolo Goodman and Karim Winnan getting the goals.

The top of the table clash in the Championship between Crude Crocs and Flumpy FC ended in a 3-1 win for the Crocs.

Level 1-1 at half-time James Sopher’s Crocs turned up the heat after half-time to clinch the win.

FC Rangers Old Boys registered their first win, overcoming Ben O’Leary’s Mavericks 4-1 thanks to James Thake (two), Philip Downton, and Matthew Woodhead.

A very tight game between Neverbee Athletic and The Toddlers ended in a 1-1 draw. Both goals came in the second half, Dominic Gillick for Neverbee and Jack Parnell for Toddlers.

In the final game, Stroke T put four past Antonio Costa’s newcomers Sondico United, who managed two in response.
