Swindon Town supporters have come together in appreciation of on-loan Norwich City defender Harry Toffolo.

The 19-year-old, from Watton-at-Stone who used to play for Welwyn Pegasus, has extended his loan at the League One tabletoppers until the end of the season, after making a positive impact at the County Ground.

The Trust and Swindon Town Supporters’ Club look to bridge the gap between the club and supporters and have raised £12,000 to fund the defender’s spell at the club.

Swindon Supporters’ Trust chairman Steve Mytton told the Swindon Advertiser: “After the club had supported our Family Day against Fleetwood, we wanted to give something back and this seemed the ideal way really,

“We’re delighted that Harry has signed until the end of the season.

“He’s a great talent and we look forward to seeing him continue the excellent form he’s showed so far.

“We want to bring the club and the community closer together, because we all love the football club, and using a bit of spare cash to fund players is a good thing.”

As well as excelling on the pitch, having made 13 appearances since temporarily leaving Carrow Road to join the Robins, Toffolo has recieved plaudits for expressing his desire to help out with community work when off the field.
