ARSENAL Ladies trio Jennie Beattie, Danielle Carter and Hannah Short will join Stevenage’s Rachel Carter and Amy Josland in hoping to fire The University of Hertfordshire women’s football team to glory in their first ever BUCS Mars Championship final.

The University of Hertfordshire side, based in Hatfield, will battle for silverware with their Loughborough counterparts at Crystal Palace FC’s Selhurst Park ground on Wednesday, May 2.

Bryn Clark, The University of Hertfordshire’s Head of Sports Development, said: “We are delighted and extremely proud of our women’s football programme in reaching the BUCS national cup final.”
