Welwyn Garden City manager Adam Fisher has overhauled his backroom staff for the challenge of Southern League football.

In comes Jason Coughlan as his number two, replacing Steve Rolfe who has joined the Dean Barker-led revolution at Northwood.

Coughlan, who had two spells at the Herns Lane in a 20-year playing career as well as turning out for Ware, Hemel Hempstead Town and St Margaretsbury, joins from London Colney where he played last season.

The Citizens also have a new physio in former Harlow Town man Paul Hook, who is also a License B coach, while Dave Samal joins the staff as goalkeeping coach from Biggleswade FC.

WGC manager Fisher said: “It’s an experienced team for a new experience for our club.

“Jason is well known to everybody at the club from his spells here as a player and I’m sure Paul and Dave will fit in excellently at Herns Lane.”
