Potters Bar Crusaders Girls’ U13s continued their fine form with an impressive 4-0 league away to Herts Girls FC from Hemel Hempstead.

They started slowly in an evenly matched contest with defenders Rebecca, Amelia and Tabitha working well with keeper Giorgia to ensure that the countless Herts Girls FC attacks were stopped, blocked or saved.

But after the initial good attacking play by the home side, Bar showed their skills going forward with a well-worked goal from athletic midfielder, Isabelle.

They went in at half-time extremely happy with their 1-0 lead but after the break they were much brighter.

Maya scored her fifth and sixth goals of the season and one from stand-in captain Hannah ensured three well-deserved points.

Player of the match went to goalkeeper Giorgia.

Bar are now top of the league with four wins from four and travel to Ruislip next week for a league cup tie.
