England U18 call-up for Harry Toffolo

WELWYN Garden City teenager Harry Toffolo has been called-up to the England U18 squad for the first time.

The 17-year-old has been picked by head coach Noel Blake for the squad to play Belgium away next Tuesday night.

The former Welwyn Pegasus player, who attended the University of Hertfordshire’s Football Development Centre in Hatfield, has been rewarded for his consistent form with the Norwich City U18 side.

The left back joined the Premier League side’s academy when he was 13.

The full England U18 squad is as follows: Goalkeepers: Luke Coddington (Middlesbrough), Cameron Dawson (Sheffield Wednesday); Defenders: Jake Cooper (Reading), Shay Facey (Manchester City), Liam Grimshaw (Manchester United), Tareiq Holmes-Dennis (Charlton Athletic), Dominic Iorfa (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Harry Toffolo (Norwich City); Midfielders: Jordan Ibe (Liverpool), Leon Lobjoit (Coventry City), Ben Pearson (Manchester United), Jesse Starkey (Chelsea), John Swift (Chelsea), James Weir (Manchester United); Attackers: Adam Campbell (Newcastle United), Devante Cole (Manchester City), Chris Long (Everton), Tobi Sho-Silva (Charlton Athletic).
