The next prize in Colney Heath’s heroic FA Cup run will be a home tie against Vanarama National League South Wealdstone in the third qualifying round – should they beat Burgess Hill Town in a replay.

The Magpies shocked the footballing world when they fought back from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 against the Sussex side who play two divisions higher.

But Stones are another step up again and it will give the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division side a huge incentive ahead of tomorrow’s replay (Tuesday).

St Albans City will be at home again in the next round against either Cadbury Heath or Bridport but they too have a replay to overcome first.

That game is tonight against Cambridge City.

There are more replays to tackle first for Potters Bar Town and Royston Town but their rewards will be away ties at Cinderford Town and Brackley Town respectively.

The Scholars host Hampton & Richmond Borough while the Crows are at home to Braintree Town.

The third qualifying round ties will take place on Saturday, September 30.
