WELWYN Garden City’s four-match winning streak was ended after they went down 1-0 away to St Albans City Reserves at Clarence Park.
The only goal of the Spartan South Midlands League Division One game came from the hosts on 28 minutes through Aaron Lansiquot.
Following the result, Simon Braine’s WGC side remain 14th in the table, while St Albans Reserves moved up to fifth.
The Herns Lane club are without a match on Saturday, their next outing is on Wednesday (February 29) as they host Stony Stratford Town.
