Welwyn Garden City’s impressive late season run of seven wins from their last eight league games was halted by a calamitous second-half defensive display in an eventual 4-0 loss at Hadley on Thursday night.

On a blustery Sunday morning MACRON WHSFL staged five games at King George V playing fields which served up a total of 42 goals, while at Welwyn Playing Fields The Grove and The Great Northern played out the Memorial Cup final.
