Sir Frederic Osborn will send four teams to the Hertfordshire County Handball Finals after a clean sweep of titles at the U13 and U15 Welwyn Hatfield district event.

The school were hosts with Monk’s Walk and Onslow St Audrey’s also in attendance and both the girls and the boys produce some scintillating stuff to clinch the crowns.

In addition to making it through to the county competition, the teams went unbeaten in the competition and did not let in a single goal between them.

The county final will take place in March at Wodson Park in Ware.

Regan Carolan, head of the leadership academy, said: “The result was a true credit to our students, who put in the time and effort to attend training sessions.

“We were also able to get some of our young leaders, who know and play handball, to lead the teams a variety of drills to competition success.”
