Junior ABA semi-final opportunities for Welwyn Garden City boxers

WELWYN Garden City Boxing Club duo Tom Cox Kyran O’Neill are set to take to the squared circle tomorrow (Saturday) as they compete in the Junior ABAE Championship semi-finals.

The action will take place at the Edge Leisure Centre in Haslemere, Surrey, with boxing scheduled to start at 1pm.

And interestingly, the pair will both be facing opponents they have fought in the past.

Tom will be up against Brompton’s Jack Budge whom he met in the CYP championships with Tom losing by just two points, and Kyran will take on Guildford’s Thomas Kindon.

The Final will take place on Saturday, May 12, at The Frontier Club in Batley, West Yorkshire.
