A PEDESTRIAN was hurt in a road collision in Hatfield on Saturday.

The woman was hospitalised after being involved in a collision with a car on.

The East of England Ambulance Service was alerted to Comet Way near to the traffic lights at just before 5pm.

Ambulance crews from Hatfield and Stevenage attended the scene.

Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “The woman who we believe to be 22 year old was slightly injured and following treatment by the ambulance crews at the roadside, she was taken to the Lister Hospital in Stevenage for further care.”
