Police caught a young woman driving without insurance in Welwyn Garden City, after they noticed one of her car lights was broken.

Yesterday at 7.56pm on Peartree Lane, Welwyn Garden City, officers stopped a Renault Clio after noticing one of its lights was broken.

A police spokeswoman said: “It was subsequently discovered that the driver did not have insurance.

“Officers seized the car and a 20-year-old woman was reported for driving without insurance.”
