A MOTORIST is being urged to come forward after an accident in WGC that left a teenager needing hospital treatment.
At 12.45pm on Saturday, May 5, a JM Star Scooter collided with a light green medium sized saloon as botgh vehicles headed eastbound on Bridge Road.
The moped driver, an 18-year-old man from WGC, suffered cuts and abrasions and was taken to the QE2 Hospital for treatment.
The saloon driver, described as a white male in his 20s, failed to stop at the scene.
Police are now calling for the motorist or any witnesses who saw the collision to come forward.
Pc Jackie Reynolds said: “I am urging the driver of the car involved, anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who knows anything that could be helpful to our investigation to get in touch with police.”
