REMEMBER to put your clocks back tonight as British Summer Time ends.

British Summer Time (BST) officially ends at 2am on Sunday, October 30 in 2011.

Clocks should be put back an hour to 1am as the UK moves to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) again.

This means an extra 60 minutes in bed on Sunday morning.

The change will also mean it is lighter in the morning and darker during the evening rush hour.

BST currently starts on the final Sunday in March and ends on the last Sunday in October.

So when do the clocks change in 2012?

The clocks will go forward again on Sunday, March 25 and will go back on October 28, 2012.

However, the Government is looking at proposals to trial a switch to Central European Time – BST plus one hour.

This would eventually result in the UK clocks moving forward an hour all year round.
