Welwyn Garden City lagoon death – woman named

A WOMAN whose body was found in Welwyn Garden City’s Black Fan Lagoon at the weekend has been named by police.
Police cordon at the lagoon in WGCLinda Huntingford, of Crookhams, Welwyn Garden City, was spotted by dogwalkers at the beauty spot off Mundells just after 9am on Saturday.
Police believe she was 71 years old.
They have ruled out anyone else being involved in the death, which has now been passed to the Hertfordshire coroner for investigation.
In today’s Welwyn Hatfield Times, Mrs Huntingford’s goddaughter pays tribute to her.
