The pair, Colon Beckles, 17, and Brendon Hansford, 28, wowed judges on Sky1 HD show Got to Dance, and are urging fans to vote them through to the next stage of the contest.

Brendon, who runs WGC-based Alter Ego Dance Studio, in Knightsfield, said: “The response we have already got has been crazy, if you check the voting page out on the Got to Dance Fan Page (www.facebook.com/
questions/10150477939095678/) we have got over 640 votes already.

“That puts us in the top three with the public, but we need more votes as we don’t know if we got through yet. Hopefully we should find out any day.”

The duo’s routine was praised by no less an expert than Diversity star Ashley Banjo, who said: “The moment you guys started I thought ‘hold on these guys are good’ and then in the middle I was like ‘these guys are great’, and then at the end I was like ‘these guys know how to structure a routine’.

“Because it built and built and built, and there was a thread that ran the whole way through.”

He added: “You guys could be the ones to watch, well done.”

Fellow judge, West End and movie star Adam Garcia, said: “You’re thoroughly entertaining and completely watchable,” before concluding the routine was “brilliant stuff”.

Colon and Bredon are not the only Times Territory talent on the show.

As we revealed two weeks ago, WGC resident Justine McLucas has made it onto the shows semi-final shortlist with her poledance routine.
