A Welwyn Garden City couple’s charity has just passed its 10-year anniversary.

Rachel Canter, 43, and husband Andrew, 48, tragically suffered the loss of their stillborn baby Jake, in 2005.

Ten years later the couple have created their own charity which supports midwives and allows them to further educate them on bereavement care.

Andrew told WHT: “It was my motivation, so that Jake didn’t die in vain.”

In this week’s Welwyn Hatfield Times we looked back at the past 10 years of Jake’s Midwives, pick up a copy of this week’s paper for the full story.
