A Welwyn man has been arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods as police recover a number of vehicles.

Police have recovered a number of vehicles that are suspected to be stolen at a salvage yard off Spinney Lane in Welwyn.

Officers identified the suspected vehicles on Monday, March 12 after a call was made at 10.51 am.

A 31-year-old man from Welwyn has been arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

Several lines of enquiry are being followed.
