A contingent of Welwyn Hatfield residents will travel to London tomorrow to take part in the march for a People’s Vote on the final Brexit deal.

Marchers will gather at Welwyn Garden City Railway Station at 10.15am for the 10.25am train, and at Hatfield Station at 10.20am for the 10.30am train.

The group are welcoming anyone to join them or, if unable to join the march, to see them off from the stations.

Organiser councillor Helen Quenet said an accessible route has been chosen to allow those with pushchairs or wheelchairs to take part.

She added: “We’ll have a full range of people, from infants to teens to great-grandparents.

“Now that it is clear that Brexit will harm every age group and every aspect of our economy, it’s important that we all make our voices heard.”

The march is scheduled to begin from Park Lane at midday, culminating in a rally at Parliament Square, which begins at 2pm.

More information about the march route can be found at https://www.peoples-vote.uk/march.
