At around 12.25pm on Monday, March 3, a man went into Sainsbury’s in Church Road and took a bottle of wine and a bottle of water from the shelves before leaving without paying.

Police would like to speak to the man pictured as he may have information about the theft that could prove useful to the investigation.

Anyone who recognises the man, or has any other information about the theft, is asked to contact Hertfordshire Constabulary via the non-emergency number quoting crime reference B1/17/1072.

Alternatively contact the independent crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or through their anonymous online form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org. No personal details are taken, information cannot be traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
